Prepletenost kulture in jezika na primeru angleških in slovenskih izlastnoimenskih frazemov

Povezava med jezikom in kulturo se odraža v frazeologiji posameznega jezika in kljub univerzalnosti nekaterih frazemov, ki izvirajo iz istega vira ali so se v jeziku ustalili kot posledica jezikovnega stika z drugim jezikom, so številni frazemi kulturnospecifični. V prispevku obravnavamo kulturno specifičnost izlastnoimenskih frazemov v angleščini in slovenščini, posebno pozornost namenjamo lastnoimenski sestavini, ki je pogosto ime osebe ali kraja, dobro poznanenga v določeni jezikovni skupnosti oz. kulturi. V takih primerih je raba frazema omejena na nacionalni oz. lokalni okvir, lastno ime je izven te jezikovne skupnosti bolj ali manj nepoznano, to pa povzroča težave pri razumevanju tovrstnih frazemov.
