About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Slavistična revija (Slavic Review Ljubljana, SRL) accepts original, not previously published scholarly articles in the areas of Slovene and Slavic linguistics and literary studies and from related disciplines, which were submitted only to SRL. Articles are published primarily in Slovene and occasionaly also in other Slavic or world languages.

Peer Review Process

Before publication, all articles submitted to Slavistična revija are reviewed by at least two members of the Editorial Board or by external reviwers for that particular field. The author is notified whether his/her article has been accepted for publication about three months after the submission date.

Open Access Policy

Slavistična revija is fully open access journal. All articles are available on the internet to all readers immediately upon publication. Free use and distribution in any medium is permitted, provided the author and the journal are properly credited. No fee is charged to the author or his institution for the editorial expenses and for the publication.
