Abstract

It is the duty of every society to empower all its members by ensruing that all public information is accessible to a wide range of user groups. Of particular importance is, among other things, educational content, including language guides. This article focusses on the implementation of data from the Slovar slovenskega znakovnega jezika (Slovenian sign language dictionary), developed within the framework of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Clubs Association Of Slovenia, into the 3rd edition of the Slovar slovenskega knjižnega jezika (Dictionary of the Slovenian standard language), in development since 2016 at the Fran Ramovš Institute for the
Slovenian Language, ZRC SAZU. Modern (monolingual) dictionaries are primarily online dictionaries, and the online medium offers many possibilities for data connection between different language sources. The aim of this paper is to present the current state of the art of such an implementation and future plans.
