Problems in Computer Analyses of Slovene Texts and some Solutions

A problem of automatic word analysis of Slovene texts is described and discussed. As the essetnial issue the variety of computational endings in Slovenian declination is exposed. All sets of different endings identified during the classification of about 156.000 Slovenian words are listed. The dictionary in which each entry is composed of the computational root and the set of computational endings consists of approximately 150.000 and about 6.000 flexible and non-flexible words. The described dictionary enables a varity of applications with two of them as examples.Downloads
