Abstract

The paper is based on a poetological analysis of a Pushkin novel. Through the discovery of the basic construction processes it becomes evident that the Queen of Spades is a logically constructed text, as well as opens a path to exploring teh fundamental characteristics of the Russian culture as a whole.
