The article examines mentions of Nietzsche in Slovene periodicals from 1892 to the Moderna. They are divided into two larger groups, i.e., liberal-free-spirited and Catholic-conservative, and compared. The author finds that nieder side was particularly ready for a dialogue with Nietsche's philosophy. Furthermore, the reactions of the liberal and Catholic authors were surprisingly similar.Downloads
