Abstract

The article presents the word formation of nominal Christian terminology with the derivational base from nouns. The author analyzed the derivational processes and models. In the framework of derivational categories she categorized isofunctional derivational morphemes in the terminology from the mid-16th to de mid-19th century by their derivational productiveness and frequency of use. She combines synchronic and diachronic methodological approaches.
