Abstract

The article aims to present the methodology of derivational analysis called graded derivation. This is a pairly new branche of derivation in Slovenia. Although rooted in Russian linguistic circles, it has basis in findings of Slovene linguists as well. The article outlines the methodoloy, its basic terminology, and historical development.
