Abstract

The article presents the basic formal and semantic changes in the usage of prepositional phrases in two books of four Slovenian translations from the 16th century to the present. It deals separately with temporally marked usage of prepositional phrases and prepositional verbs and their alternating pairs in the 400-year span.
