Abstract

The study on Milica Schaup Ostrovška consists of three parts: the first part surveys the life and work of the writer and places her inthe context of the journal Ženski svet (1923-1941); the secon part presents her literature published in this journal (putting the phenomenon into a broader social context, vis-à-vis of the medium of publication and the author's life trajectory); the third part is devoted to the realtionship between publications in journals vs. books, in which it takes into account and interprets the comments on some of the analyzed texts by the literary historian Marja Boršnik.
