Abstract

In the current Slovene ethnic area, over 800 toponyms derived from athroponyms of Slavic origin can be recognized. The distribution of suffixes in these toponyms is different than in toponyms from appelatives, which were, in comparison with the former, formed more often with onymization, without derivation.
