Abstract

The article presents basic information on the previously unknown Franciscan writer, Anton Brešan, and his literary opus. His work has not been researched and was for the most part lost. At least one of his homilies from the end of the 17th century that has been preserved shows Father Brešan as a skilled writer of rhetorical prose.
