The Content of the Monograph The Power and Powerlessness of Literary Language — fundamental sections

Abstract

The perpetually pressing question of Slovene as the language of the Slovene university and thus also indirectly of scholarship in Slovenia dictates the thematic selection of certain fundamental sections of the monograph. The literary language’s intellectual function and thus the sense of its existence is interrogated. A concise historical survey of (literary) Slovene’s development substantiates its dynamic power.
