Tha article deals with short narrative prose in the three period between 1922 and 1924., i.e., the part conceived by the writers born in 1870s, 1880, and 1890s. The majority of these writers more or less followed the traditional ideal of the model for short narrative prose, only a small number of them sought other possibilities, e.g., F. Bevk, A. Cerkvenik, A. Čebokli, I. Dornik, M. Fabjančič, A. Podbevšek, I. Pregelj, etc.Downloads
