Abstract

In three charpters tha author deals with Podbevšek's, Kosovel's, and Delak's role in creating the Slovene historical avant-garde. He investigates their relationship towards the contemporary European avant-garde. There is a special emphasis on Podbevšek's aesthetic provocation, Kosovel's konstructivism, which was related to his knowledge of Russian literary constructivism, and Delak's foundation of the journal Tank.
