Criteria for Distinguishing between Interjections and Particles

This article addresses the question to which part of speech expressions that have some categorial properties of interjections and some of particles should belong. The challenge is to determine the part of speech of those words which do not have a clausal counterpart and cannot be unambiguously categorized either as interjections or as particles.
