The contemporary Slovene short narrative prose includes elements of mythologization and de-mythologization (anti-myth) in the form of motif-thematic and ideological parallels and contrasts with myths and fairytales, which also involves the creation of new mythology (i.e., neo-mythologization). In connection with the processes of meta-fiction, Slovene short narrative prose at the end of the twentieth century also displays the structural characteristics of fairytales and myths, with the ironization of the fairy-tale genre playing an important role as well.Downloads
