Abstract

On the example of parallel excerpts from a Gospel, the author analzyes the syntactic and grammatical structure (word order and rendering of particular grammatical forms and idioms from the original) in Primož Trubar's translation of 1557, his approach to the choice of lexicon and calqüs, as well as the consistency in translation of the same lexical items in various places in the text.
